Characteristics
Antivirus and antispyware
Both the work stations and the file servers are protected by means of a reliable end station application and in addition the whole network is protected by means of a high-performance security gate checking the traffic between the internal network and external world for any harmful codes.
Internet protection of workstations
Security software on the end stations checks both websites and electronic mail, and therefore it intercepts all viruses, worms, trojans and other harmful codes coming via these channels. The intelligent firewall allows only legitimate applications on the computers to communicate via Internet.
Memory media protection
After connecting the portable memory media to the computer, the software immediately starts or offers scanning. This significantly reduces the risk of virus infection, e.g. from a borrowed flash drive. A personal flash drive can even be protected by creating a portable version of the antivirus.
Recovery system disk
This front-end application allows you to generate in advance a rescue system disk with an antivirus module. This disk can be used to heal a non-functional system in case of a severe viral infection.
Security gate
An additional level of security is provided by antivirus protection at the level of the Internet proxy server. It secures scanning of all mail and website traffic of the network, and thus further decreases the risk of a viral infection of the stations or servers. It is an excellent supplement to antiviruses on individual computers.
Central management
The network administrator can easily distribute security software to the end station computers by means of central administration. The website interface allows not only remote installation of software, but also planning of regular updates, defining of security policy, scheduling of regular scanning etc.
