Characteristics
Antivirus and antispyware
A powerful combination of scanning engines that ensures high detection abilities on both work stations and file servers. All opened or launched files are checked and are disabled immediately, if a harmful code is detected.
Personal firewall
This intelligent firewall will automatically identify legitimate applications and let them communicate with the Internet. If it detects unknown or suspicious applications, it will ask the user about further procedures. This gives the user full control over Internet traffic.
Mail and website protection
The majority of malware enters the computer via the Internet. The software thus already intercepts any threats during the downloading of web sites or electronic mail. Besides that, it also eliminates files of an undesirable nature, be they spam or unsuitable websites. It thus allows you to optimize the utilization of the Internet connection.
Portable antivirus
The software makes it possible to install a mobile version of the antivirus on portable memory media, such as flash drives. Once the medium is connected to any computer, it is protected against viral infection. Besides that, it is possible to check any given computer for the presence of malware.
Protection of the file server
Antivirus and anti-spyware installed on the file servers are adapted in their ability to process a large volume of data simultaneously. It scans the files simultaneously in several threads and thus does not slow down the operation of the servers, which usually store frequently used company data.
Central management
The security software is installed on the end station computers remotely and in volume by means of a central administration. The network administrator can access all the settings by means of a comfortable website interface. The administrator can either rely on the preset security policies or derive from them completely new security policies, depending on the specific needs of the given network.
